Shiny!

So... -I- bought -myself- an early birthday/Valentines day present last night when I got off work. There was a gold sale going on and there was a small section where things were 50% off. So the pendant I loved was originally $110.00. Soooo $55.00 instead... then the chain was $20.00. In other words, I got a rather cheap silver and diamond necklace. I figured I deserve a little something considering both "holidays" are next week and I'll be alone for it. Plus the inexpense of it (considering) and I had a visa gift card thinger from Christmas to use yet.

I'm thinking that I may also take myself to a movie for my birthday or V-day. Maybe Legion, Avatar, Book of Eli or Lovely Bones. Not sure yet... but there's also going to be a free movie sometime next week with a Scene card so maybe I'll catch that one. For 10 bucks it's a day out. Or to save myself from taking a bus across town I could rent a movie, bake some cookies and cuddle up on the couch with a kitty or three.

Anywho, I feel like crud right now... so I may go park my face for a bit since I've been awake since the significant went to work. Then again I may just end up being woken anyways when he's home for lunch. Lose/Lose. Sigh. Pass the mint chocolate chip.
