New Year, new life.

Happy New Year! Who knows what's in store for 2010 but 2009 was pretty interesting.

To sum things up neatly... I'm getting married to a wonderful man (as cranky as he can be.), I quit my job and moved to another province to be with him, moved again into our first home together in a nice apartment, got a new job that I'm liking very much, I have three sweet (sometimes) little kitties. We also got to head back home for Winnipeg for the holidays which was nice. It was only for a week so not too long or too short. Didn't get to see most of the people that I wanted to but there's always next time. Maybe the summer.

All in all, 2009 was a bit of a busy year.

Some good news first off for this year though... I may actually be able to get my wedding dress! I've been saving a bit here and there when I can for the last few months, by the time I'd have enough for the deposit the time available to get it would be come and gone. But apparently my Mom's been putting some aside too I just found out... so now I have the deposit... the first payment and the start of the next payment. I'm really hoping that nothing goes wrong with this, not sure I can deal with it falling through a second time.

Also, looking for a second job. It's proving tricky in some aspects but something's bound to turn up sooner or later. Preferably sooner.

Annnnd... I'll be turning 22 next month! Hard to believe in some ways but meh. It's gonna be pretty lame, same with Valentines Day since I'll be alone again but no big deal. It's mah birthday!

In any case I'd better go check on supper before it singes... plus I have Jack sitting here going "Mum? Mum! Mum! Mum?! Mum? Mum!" at my side. :P
