This is the first actual "hot" day since summer began. Apparently even now at 5:50 PM the temp is 27C ("Feels like" 31) according to WN. Sure it's a pretty big jump from what it has been but still. It's better than snow!
We decided to let Miko out onto the balcony without her leash just to see what she'd do... and as always at first she was terrified to be outside, thus she sprawled out on the cement perfectly flat as if clinging to it. Finally after leaving her be she started to roam around an inch at a time, sniffing the walls and things... looking through the netting. At one point she wanted back inside, which the door was wide open and she could have walked in freely, but no, she jumped onto the window sill and started pawing the screen. "Smart" kitty is smart. Not to mention she tried to jump up onto the railing which is less than an inch wide, thus she got herself stuck clawed into the netting between the bars and needed a rescue. A very hissy, PMSy rescue.
My new job's going well, not much to say there other than starting at 9.75/H isn't shabby at all for what I do.
That's about it, I have laundry to do. :P
