Apparently it's that thing they call "Monday" again... odd... didn't we just have one, you know, last week? Oh, and also I've apparently been here for a week-ish now. Huh. Guess I really did lose my days. Or possibly even my mind but everyone knows that's nothing new to begin with!
Let's see, last few days... well we got ourselves into Warhammer 40,000 and such, again, whatever you want to say about it. We picked ourselves up a starter box to relearn things and paint, thus last night I painted the first of quite a few minis. It's not my greatest work but for goofing off, that'll do paintbrush, that'll do. Now to glue it into it's base so it doesn't keep falling over and we're set! Only another... lot... to paint/glue.
The other day we were also taken to check out a cheap furniture place, that (yes I know I said the word cheap but hang on.), it actually had decent stuff. Not ALL of it mind you but quite a bit. So apparently we have a new couch/loveseat, bedroom suite, mattress and livingroom tables/lamps waiting in the wings. That's a lot of stuff. Hopefully we'll be able to fit it into our new place when we get it, I'm sure we will but you can't measure a home that you haven't seen yet to compair really. I'm not phychic. Or am I? Dun dun duuuuuuuuuun.
Food shopping went fine too, we now have, heaven forbid it, food in the place. Loblaw or translation, Superstore, is pretty decent here. Both David and Jon were wrong about how much the total was going to come up to. :P
Anyways I think it's about time to get some stuff done, like finish cleaning up our room, try and sort out this tornado bunker of a storage room, clean the scary bathroom and possibly do the dishes. Besides I'd better pull myself from the laptop for a bit anyways, it's still early and I can hear Miko crying in the other room.
